KORTUC Inc. has been conducting a collaborative research with Professor Mark De Ridder at UZ Brussel to investigate the KORTUC radiosensitizing mechanism of action.
The initial result from this research collaboration will be presented at annual meeting of BACR (Belgian Association for Cancer Research) held on September 30 th, 2022
In this study, it was shown for the first time that the radiosensitizing effect of H2O2 under hypoxic conditions can be attributed to the inhibition of cellular respiration, in addition to reoxygenating cells.
