The basic research to investigate KORTUC’s mechanism of tumor reoxygenation is to be presented at ARR (The Association of Radiation Research) 2022 by Dr. Navita Somaiah from the Institute of Cancer Research, UK on 7th June 2022.

ARR is to foster collaboration both within and outside the CRUK RadNet*1 consortium and wider radiation research community in the UK by its first face to face meeting in the past two years.

The presentation, “Modifying the tumour microenvironment using intra-tumoural hydrogen peroxide”, is to take place in “Modifying the tumour microenvironment” session and the research of the mechanism of tumor reoxygenation is to be updated by Dr. Navita Somaiah, Conference Chair of ARR 2022 and the Chief Principal Investigator of the ongoing pivotal P2 of KORTUC in the UK.

By resolving hypoxia in tumor tissues, KORTUC changes tumor micro environment from radioresistant to radiosensitive to make Radiotherapy work much better. The Company is sponsoring ARR 2022.
